Advanced Metalworks was formed in July 2006 after seeing a need for a more diversified service in the site welding field. The idea was to not offer a mobile welding service, but a mobile fabrication workshop with a wider variety of services than was currently available.

After spending 13 years building a successful engineering company it was decided to take this wide knowledge base to the customer instead of the customer required to bring it to the workshop.

Advanced Metalworks has extensive experience in all forms of welding, steel fabrication, pipeline, hydraulic cylinders, earthmoving equipment, plant maintenance, on-site ac/dc tig, pulse mig, thermic lancing and arc air gouging.

We also have a fully equipped workshop with milling and turning facilities, access to line boring, and supply pins and bushes/pin bosses as well as a mobile workshop truck for off site repairs and servicing. Advanced Metalworks also own several weld procedures as per welding code 1554:1 NATA certified. These also include weld procedures for bridge barrier rail as per Vic Roads Section 670 and 630.
